This past Friday, Xaverian Clippers swept the Holy Trinity Titans 22-0!
Right from the start, Xaverian’s defense set the mood. With a significant presence, the Titans had little room to breathe. Holy Trinity has been ranked #102 in New York State, and with Xaverian at #209, the Clippers pulled through tremendously! This big win brought Xaverian to a 2-2 record.
Xaverian not only brought the defense, but they also brought big energy. After last week's loss, the team brought their A-Game and came out on top. “We have a strong team, and we definitely pulled through,” stated nose tackle Caden Douglass ’27.
The support for Xaverian was tremendous, with packed stands and roars from the crowd after every point. Students, teachers, and parents all celebrated the Clippers.
With this big win secured, Xaverian is going in with high hopes and a strong morale for their next game against Mount Saint Michael. Go Clippers!
